Day 32 - Photos, Stamps, Movies, & Concepts.
Graphics 1 - Today is a work day for your MOVIE POSTERS.
Multimedia 1 - Your PHOTO ASSIGNMENT is due today. The 25 pictures from your handout should be uploaded to your MORGUE folder. Rename them so that they have a number and name that corresponds with the list.
Graphics 2 - Today is a work day for your STAMPS.
Multimedia 2 - Your newscast CONCEPTS are due by the end of the hour. I will also go over your SHOT PLANS. You must have one for each SCENE CHANGE in your script.

Day 31 - THURS. - SPRING PLAY TONIGHT!!!
Graphics 1 - I will demo the Movie Poster project. I will show you how to create 3 tones per hue(color). I will use the JUNO poster for reference.
Multimedia 1 - I will give you the PHOTOGRAPHY ASSIGNMENT and go over the different photos you need to take. We will watch your ROTATING STORYLINES.

Day 28 - Monday News Concepts!
Graphics 1 - Finish and post the ROCKET. My projector is out. So I will introduce the MOVIE POSTER project by mouth. Pick a film that you would like to create a new poster for and research it. Choose 3 source images that you would like to use and post them to your blog. Tomorrow we will present 3 layout sketches for uor project.
Multimedia 1 - Today we will start on your next NEWSCAST. Research a news story based on the category I have assigned you. Turn in a concept based on the proper format.

Day 27 - The week ends...

Day 26 - Rotating Storyline!
Graphics 1 - ILLUSTRATIONS are due on your blog today.The next project is the ROCKET.
Multimedia 1 - Today we will do the REVOLVING STORYLINE. You will be given a prompt to respond to with a video in iMovie. Then you will rotate seats and record the next prompt response on another person's computer. You will do this roughly 5 times. Then, your job is to return to your original computer and edit all 5 prompts into a cohesive video. This includes photos, music, and type.
Graphics 2 - TYPE SPREAD is due on your blog TODAY! Then, you may work on your INFLUENTIAL PERSON PAPER.
Multimedia 2 - DEFINE: INCITING INCIDENT, CLIMAX, RESOLUTION on your blog. Today, we will go over the 3 act structure. I will give example of movies and how they fit into the 3 act structure. Your 3 minute video that introduces your character must adhere to this. Tomorrow we will write your scripts.

Multimedia 2 - Today we will create a character. Choose a name and age for your character. Then give me their FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY, THEIR WORST FEAR, A BOOK/HERO, LIKE/HATE SCHOOL, and a COMPANION based on one of the latter choices you made.

Day 23 - Morning Announcements!
Graphics 1 - Work on your ILLUSTRATIONS using Adobe Illustrator. Remember, to use 3 tones per color; a highlight, base tone, & shadow. Draw in complete shapes.
Multimedia 1 - Finish recording your newscasts in GARAGEBAND. Keep it around 15 seconds. You must have 5-6 pictures that relate to your story, and some background music. When you finish, go to SHARE > EXPORT TO DISK. Call the file {your name} Newscast 2.
Graphics 2 - Finish up your TYPE spreads. We will continue presenting them in class.
